Lone Star Analysis Announces Addition to Board of Directors, B.J. Penn

DALLAS – Jan. 21, 2020 – Lone Star Analysis, a trusted provider of advisory services and internationally recognized for leading-edge predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions, is proud to announce that it has appointed B.J. Penn as the newest member of its board of directors.

“After our recent round of fundraising, we decided to expand our board of directors to accommodate the growth we project over the next year,” said Steve Roemerman, CEO and chairman, Lone Star Analysis. “Secretary Penn’s knowledge and expertise will provide Lone Star with a unique perspective into the complex segments we operate in.”

Penn was a career Naval Officer. His experience includes being a tactical jet aviator, assignments in R&D, technical and operational evaluations, logistics, electronic warfare and counter measure systems. He was responsible for the health of the US Defense industrial base; DoD’s policies and plans to ensure existing and future industrial capabilities meet the Defense mission. In March 2005, Penn was confirmed as Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Installations and Environment), responsible for formulating policies, plans and procedures for the effective management of Navy and Marine Corps real property, housing and other facilities. In April 2009 he was appointed Acting Secretary of the Navy, where he led America’s Navy and Marine Corps.

“It was an honor to receive the invitation from Lone Star to be part of its board of directors,” said Penn. “I hope to be a great asset to the organization as it continues to develop new technologies and increase its market share in the government and defense industries.”

Penn received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and his master’s degree from The George Washington University. He has also been awarded certificates in aerospace safety and national security for senior officials from The University of Southern California and Harvard University, respectively. He is chairman of the board of Spectra Systems, a director for both the board of American Reality Capitol and the board of National Trust for the Humanities, and a trustee at The George Washington University. He is the CEO of Genesis IV, Executive Consulting, and President of Penn Construction Group, an A&E firm.
