MAT WINTER, VICE ADMIRAL, USN (RET)
Mat Winter, Vice Admiral, USN (ret), is the President of Winter Strategic Solutions, LLC, a small business firm providing technology and business advice to the senior defense industry, private sector companies, non-profit and academic C-Suite leadership focused on their long-term strategic company growth, valuation, and profitability. He is an active Board Director on several for-profit and non-profit Boards.
Before establishing Winter Strategic Solutions, Mat completed a 35-year career as a Naval Aviator, with 20 years as a senior defense acquisition executive. His marquee career leadership roles include the 24th Chief of Naval Research and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Executive Officer.
Mat is a visionary strategic leader with extensive experience providing senior advisory and strategic board guidance. He is a recognized expert in the U.S. and International Executive Program Management. Mat is a proven financial manager with significant profit and loss experience. He’s also a known disruptive technology innovator. Mat is a bold change agent with deep experience leading large, complex aerospace acquisition organizations with $100’s billion in budget.
