Lone Star Analysis has expanded its support of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence (NORMoD) by assisting in the integration of the Joint Strike Missile (JSM) on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

Lone Star Analysis, a trusted provider of advisory services and internationally recognized for leading-edge predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions, has expanded its support of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence (NORMoD). The contract, valued at more than $10 million, will support the integration of the Joint Strike Missile (JSM) on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

Lone Star was selected to support the JSM effort based on its unique program and systems advisory background, deep weapons development and integration domain knowledge. The scope of this effort includes flight, lab and ground test support, weapon software integration assistance and other areas for successful operational deployment.

“Lone Star’s capabilities have saved NORMoD significant time and money while engaging many critical domestic and international stakeholders,” said Laurie Cummins, director, weapons test engineering, Lone Star Analysis.

The JSM is a new missile currently in development for the Norwegian Armed Forces. The missile completed its qualification program in early 2018 and has unmatched operational capabilities, enabling the F-35 to strike well-defended targets across long distances. The missile will be initially integrated onto the F-35 but can also be used by other types of aircraft.

In addition to NORMoD, Lone Star has a broad range of international clients in both the Military and Intelligence, and Aerospace and Defense market sectors. The company has provided program and systems advisory, strategic transformation, performance optimization, and competitive differentiation solutions in international locations including Norway, Japan, Sweden, Spain and the United Kingdom.
