The 2015 winners of the Richard H Johnson Trophy were Paul Manz, a Chief Scientist of the Army’s Program Executive Office for Ammunition, and Dr. Wade Dyer, of North Texas, who has contributed to a number of successful firms.
The Johnson Trophy is presented to individuals whose contributions in precision strike have contributed to the defense of the United States and Allies. Lone Star Analysis has been a long-standing supporter of the award. Ken Masson, chairman of the Precision Strike Association and Steve Roemerman, Lone Star CEO, presided over the award ceremony, held at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. “It is a privilege to be associated with the Johnson Trophy and the elite people who are nominated for it. Dick Johnson was a friend and mentor. As a member of the “greatest generation” we honor Dick and those like him in this award. Both Paul and Wade were highly qualified winners. Wade had worked with Dick for many years. It was wonderful to have that connection to the Johnson Trophy, and to see Paul Manz, a 21st century thought leader, on the same stage,” said Mr. Roemerman.
